Why Mindfulness? In an overcrowded, overstimulated, and overly complex world, we all need to learn how to pay attention to ourselves, others, and our environment in new ways. Researches in neuroscience show that a mindful lifestyle improves our mental and physical health. The good news is that we can train mindfulness!
In this training program, we use the Wheel of Mindfulness as a guide. We first perceive external impressions with all our senses. Then, we consciously focus on our emotions and relationships with others. Finally, we mindfully plan our next steps and reflect on the consequences for ourselves and everyone else. The exercises presented are designed for use in the classroom, but can also be easily integrated into everyday life and work.
