Start-up propensity and entrepreneurship (2019)
This study describes factors that promote and inhibit the willingness of young people in Austria to start a business. The propensity of young Austrians to start a business within the entrepreneurial ecosystem is assessed on the basis of the following factors:

- Socio-cultural norms,
- education,
- input factors and financing,
- government policy.
The classification according to these four subject areas follows the structure of the “Global Entrepreneurship Monitor” (GEM). In addition to relevant specialist literature and data from the GEM, this study incorporates expert interviews conducted in the fall of 2017.
